A GOOD BIKE FIT STARTS WITH ASKING
Why is your bicycle and equipment set up that way?
It’s not uncommon for a rider to find this question challenging; When asked, the answer is often “It’s how I’ve always done it, or “a friend told me to make a change on a ride one day.” The body is also an amazing machine that can adapt to poor setups or equipment. Unfortunately, in the long term this can lead to cycling related injuries such as knee pain, neck tension, foot numbness and saddle discomfort just to name a few.
Advice always comes from a place of sincerity, but can sometimes end up being conflicting and lead to confusion. When it comes to your bicycle that you paid so much money for and that you spend so much time on, it needs to be setup by an expert! When it comes to cycling related injuries or wanting to optimise your cycling performance, much more care must be taken to better understand your body and you as a cyclist.

Pre-Fit interview
This takes the form of an informal chat to provide the fitter with information about your riding history, injury history and a time where you, the rider, get to talk about the issues and discomforts you may have with your position.
Range of motion, alignment, strength assessment
This is a battery of detailed tests and visual assessments of the rider to determine their functional movement abilities and range of motions, as well as, their natural postures and body alignments.
On bike Fit driven by data from interview and assessment
During the fit time we take the data and information groomed from the assessment to dial in the bike to provide the right position and support for the rider’s body. This will provide the rider with an outcome position that address’ the issues that were brought up during the pre-fit interview and any other issues that come up during the fit.
Fit report with measurements of bike post-fit
After the fit the rider will be provided access to pictures and videos taken during the fit, as well as measurements of the finished bike setup.
2 Week Follow-up
After 2 weeks the rider will be contacted to check in to see how things are going and if a follow-up appointment is needed to tweak certain adjustments it will be booked at that point.
